A look behind the scenes to see how our aqua marbled earrings were made.
For these earrings I decided on various shades of green, blue and beige. I cut the clay in to small parts and added gold foil and liquid clay until it was the right consistency to roll it all together to make a "log" like in the below picture.

After refrigerating overnight, it was ready to cut into slices.

The hardest part here was having to wait overnight to see how the clay turned out.

Once the log is cut, the pieces are placed next to each other and rolled out until it's a consistent depth.

The next step was choosing which shape to cut the clay into. There was more clay than I anticipated, and I was able to choose a few different shapes.

They are baked next, and then holes are drilled. With these earrings I added a layer of shiny resin to really make the gold details stand out. (Sorry about the dark picture below, night is when I make most of my earrings and the lighting for photos isn't always great!)

Another favorite part of the process for me is putting the earrings together and seeing the final product!
